Service Description

Suitable for school groups as well as youth groups. A creative activity incorporating aspects of art therapy to allow youth an opportunity to reflect on the values and boundaries they want to set for themselves regarding sex and why. This will provide a context for consent and empower them with the knowledge and language to unashamedly communicate it. Participants will need to bring their own art materials (paper, pens/textas/pencils) and will be prompted to draw as I pose a number of reflective questions such as 'what weeds are planted in your garden' '. Privacy will be maintained (given that it will be artwork only understood by the participant). (Participants are welcome to choose the level of their involvement - they are welcome to sit there and listen, scribble on a piece of paper or get more involved with watercolour paints.)
